Herpes simplex virus meningoencephalitis (HSV ME) is a severe viral infection that affects the brain and surrounding tissues. It caused primarily by HSV type 1 (HSV-1) virus. This condition requires prompt recognition treatment due to its potential for significant morbidity mortality. We aim highlight importance of avoiding common diagnostic pitfalls in identifying meningoencephalitis, especially immunocompromised individuals. present case 34-year-old patient with emphasizing key clinical features strategies helped us reach an accurate diagnosis. By sharing this case, we enhance awareness improve management similar populations, leading better outcomes.
